The Iceberg Project is a website created by Cher Hale and designed as a support system for those who wish to learn Italian. It contains many interesting articles on its blog that deal with different topics, including focusing on particular grammar points that cause trouble for learners, lists of colloquial sayings to help expand vocabulary, or cultural differences and what to expect when you are in-country. The website also includes an Italian Language Studio for help with customising a learning plan, Conversation Coffee Break classes for intermediate students, conversation challenges, and weekly mini-lessons sent by email.

Perfect bite-sized blog lessons

I love getting my weekly mini-lessons from the Iceberg Project, and I can always find a blog post or two that gives me a great idea for a topic to practice. I'm always running out of topics.

Cher also makes sure to include colloquial expressions and regional slang so you don't feel quite so much like a talking textbook. It's a nice break from formal dialogue in textbooks.
